About this Cook
I am young but aspire to be a chef someday. I've been cooking since pretty much the womb and I am more comfortable in a kitchen than any other place in the world. I love using spanish flavors and spices from puerto rico, jamaica and other carribean islands. I also like to use italian inspired flavors with a spanish twist. I usually don't use alot of salt in my dishes because I tend to cook for people with heart problems so if you need anything low in sodium I'm your man. I am very lazy but in the kitchen I like to just relax and have alot of fun with my food, not caring about pleasing other people, just making my dishes as good as I can.
My favorite things to cook
Flan, Pasta of any kind,Rice, Steak with Onions, Dirty Rice, Pork shoulder, Fried Pork chops
My favorite family cooking traditions
A coconut gelatain called Tembleque that we only make on special occasions because it's time consuming. We like to add more pepper than we normally should.
My cooking triumphs
When I first made fresh bread, it was so good that it didn't matter that it took me the better part of a day to make.
My cooking tragedies
I burned hard boiled eggs, I have no idea how but I did! I felt so ashamed!

Cream of Asparagus Soup II
I like this recipie alot and I followed it fairly well though I added some minced garlic and 1/2 a cup of white wine and only added 3 cups of broth. I will be using this recipe for a long time!
