Slow Cooker Lancaster County Pork and Sauerkraut
An unlikely combination that works. I don't LOVE the taste of caraway seeds or saurkraut but it all came together nicely for something a little different. Followed the suggestions of others: added 1/2 can of beer, used an apple corer/slicer on 2 apples and placed the wedges all around the pork, added 2 Tbsp brown sugar (sprinkled some on top and some on the apples). I used Rome apples since I wanted something not so tart and the flavor was very mild, maybe too mild, but still good. I also seasoned the pork with s&p and browned it first, but that's only because I think the coloring is more appetizing. I used a 3lb roast, cooked it for 4 hours on high and then turned it to low while I got the side dishes ready, probably another 45 min. It fell apart and was moist. Definitely serve with applesauce! Enjoy!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing
I used this to make orzo pasta salad for Greek night and we loved it. To make with 1 cup orzo I reduced the serving size to 10 and followed exactly except used half the vinegar just because I don't like too much vinegar. Only needed a little dressing on the orzo, to which I added sliced olives and feta cheese. The olives made the dish because otherwise the oregano was too overpowering and the olives balanced it out. Served immediately. Hubby asked to take leftovers for a snack at work and he NEVER takes leftovers.

Gyros Burgers
Mu husband wanted to have Greek night and this was the closest to lamb gyros I could find on this site. Followed the recipe exact (well, used 2/3c panko breadcrumbs in place of toast). We crumbled the burgers and stuffed into pita with tzatziki sauce from the Joy of Cooking. Made an orzo salad using the dressing "absolutely Fabulous Greek House Dressing" from this site. Hubby gave it all 4 stars.
