I am happily married to my night in shinning amour and we have two daughters! Although I am a busy mom, wife, office manager, and motorcycle group organizer...one of my greatest passions is, and always has been cooking and baking. I hope to one day open a Bed and Breakfast with a bakery and catering event place in beautiful Colorado! I enjoy baking mostly since I have been doing that from a very young age. I come from a long line of fantastic cooks, and have learned many things from them. But anytime spent in a kitchen for me is always a joy! The one tradition that we have is our traditional Christmas Eve feast that combines my two heritages of Lebanese and Mexican! We have a full spread of Pasole, Tamales, Enchiladas, beans and rice with Flan and Soaps. When in New Mexico, we also have Kibi and cabbage rolls with the feast! A few years ago I wanted to try my hand at cakes! So I took a couple of cake decorating classed, stocked up on supplies, and Ta Da! Instant success! I have made several event cakes to include a 3 tier wedding cake! It is determinately a lot of work, but something I LOVE to do! Too many to name! Whenever I want to try something new...there is always a bit of trial and error until I perfect it and make it my own! And, ironically, I CANNOT bake canned biscuits! They come out like hockey pucks! But if they are from scratch, they are always perfect! Hmmmm, go figure!
