My mum's traditional home made Polish dishes! I will definitely have to try making some perogies and cabbage rolls from recipes on this site.

So far all of the recipes I've tried out on this site have turned out great.

My cooking tragedies

Burnt brownies (from the box), apple crumble which didn't crumble, and microwave cooked cookies.

Mom's Ginger Snaps

Mmmm these are great! I followed the recipe almost exactly, just added a bit more spices for personal preference. Be careful with the baking time if you like them soft. I did them for 8-10mins at 350F. Great with vanilla ice cream!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

This is an incredibly versatile glaze that tastes great. I used it to frost "One Bowl Chocolate Cake III" for an extreme chocolate flavor. This recipe made enough for me to frost two 9-inch round cakes. I will definitely be using this chocolate glaze again!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

This is a very good, simple, and easy to make recipe. I upped the amount of cocoa to 1 cup as suggested by others and found that the cake does taste better after letting it sit for about one day. I frosted it with 'Satiny Chocolate Glaze' and it was a nice treat. I did however have problems with the cake not coming out of the pan even after greasing it and flouring it - perhaps next time I will try a new method.
