I stay home ... with my kids ... last one starts school in one year ... waiting anxiously ... freedom ahead. I enjoy baking FOR my kids (not always WITH my kids -why do they have to fight over who gets to dump in the ingredients?). I love to try new ideas in the kitchen and am a big believer in presentation ... probably a waste of time with 3 small children!! Baking is the only tradition at Christmas time. I am a volunteer baker for the nutrition program at my children's school and have prepared enough snacks for 500+ students at a time. My Mom thinks I'm crazy because I will have a dinner party and experiment with new recipes to serve my guests. No real tragedies ... except the time someone changed the sugar container into salt when I was in university. Who would do that? Who wouldn't notice? Now, I am eager to learn about wine/beer and food pairings.
