I made it to K-Dub's house all in one piece.  Wish those UPS guys were more gentle. HA!  As soon as I came out of the box Zuko (K-Dub's dog) was checking me out.  I'd like to think it was me, but then I remembered the brownie biscotti Celeste had packed.  I helped K-Dub water her plants and watched as Tim (the BF) played with Zuko.  It was perfect California weather if you ask me.
Thursday K-Dub and her dad decided to take the boat out to Lake Piru and show me what wakeboarding and wakesurfing was all about.  Between you and I, I think I'll stick to cooking, my knees can barely bend!!  We had delicious egg salad sandwhiches on the boat and fed our extra bread to the ducks.  I even got a tan!!
Friday we headed to the Santa Monica Pier.  Unfortunately, K-Dub's camera died so you won't see me with my cotton candy posing on the ferris wheel.  We got to see balloon animals, lots of rides, and an Elvis impersonator.  It was another perfect California day!
We made Italian Breaded Pork Chops that night for dinner with some cheddar rice.  Tim did the dishes....I gave him a few hints....thanks Matt!!!
Sunday K-Dub made her famous Patio Pot Roast, which I keep reminding her she should submit, along with Au Gratin Potatoes.  MMmm MMmm good!!!
Monday K-Dub was back to the grind at work.  I hung out with the cats all day and relaxed, I'm looking forward to my next big trip.  K-Dub just walked in the door, I'm thinking Bacon Topped Meatloaf sounds good!!!
Tony has arrived!

Chef Tony, I am looking forward to your arrival this week. Be prepared to taste a lot of sweets as I bake a lot! My husband and I have been kicking around some ideas of where we could take you. ;)

Hey, Tony! You are a real sport, glad you had fun on the boat. Hey, do you still have your chalkboard? Don't forget to write a nice note for Michellej once in a while - she misses you! And... don't forget to use sunscreen out there in that blazing So. Calif. sun!!

About Me
I'm not a myth, nor a commercial! I'm a real (well, plastic) dude! I grew up with MichelleJ's family, but when I fell over and broke while posing for a photo, Michelle decided to share me with the world! Since then, I have been traveling around and visiting Allrecipes members, posing in photos with their food, and meeting their families!
My favorite things to cook
Any and everything (but since I am made of plastic, you have to do the hard work)!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Being home with MichelleJ and family for Christmas every year!
My cooking triumphs
Too many to name! Helping MichelleJ with her lasagna, Tiramisu with Gina Brown, quesadillas with Ambibambi, Chocolate Cherry Cake with Tristan's mom, and my many other adventures with Allrecipes members!
My cooking tragedies
It's never a tragedy when Chef Tony is in the house!
