Simple Garbanzos

Loved this! I added diced orange bell pepper for a little extra texture and flavor. I increased the cayenne pepper a tad and as other reviews did, I also increased the peas to 1/2 cup and decreased the olive oil to 3 Tbsp. Ate as a side dish, but could definitely eat as a snack as well. Yum!

Asian Tuna Patties

These were pretty good, very different flavors for tuna patties. I doubt I'll make again, I prefer the traditional celery, onion, and breadcrumbs.

Baked Tilapia in Garlic and Olive Oil

Didn't marinade, just baked it covered in minced garlic, olive oil, a variety of crushed peppers, and topped with diced onion. Awesome!

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Absolutely Awesome! I followed some of the other reviewers and toned down the salt and pepper. Removed pork from pan and carmelized onions with a teaspoon of sugar. Returned pork, covered and simmered with a cup of beef bouillion broth. I didn't allow the liquid to evaporate completely, instead added a cornstarch/water mixture to thicken and served over mashed potatoes. So GOOD! Will definately make again!

This was great! I added some peas, dried minced onion, minced garlic, and seasoned pepper. Served over white rice. The whole family chowed it down. Will definately make again when I need a quick meal.

Cottage Cheese, Avocado, and Black Bean Salsa

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. I omitted the corn and added a little garlic powder and sea salt and threw it all together without cooking anything. Just ate it out of a bowl without chips. Yum!

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Very good. I added in an extra layer of italian cheese and also put diced onions, garlic and green pepper in with the ground beef. Next time I will try it with italian sausage.

Curried Shrimp

This was pretty good. The family enjoyed it and there was no left-overs. I did make a few changes: Sauteed onion and minced garlic in olive oil, added shrimp soup and Penzey's Hot Curry. Also, added Old Bay Seasoning to taste and Celery Flakes. Cut shrimp in halves and then added with the sour cream. Next time I will saute green pepper and celery with the onion.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Family loved it with a few changes. Cooked ground beef with onions and garlic powder. Then made roux with flour and butter. Added one can of beef consomme, milk, more garlic powder, seasoning salt, parsley, pepper, and worchestershire. Thickened a little more with a mixture of corn starch and water. Served over toast and it was awesome!

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Pretty good, the family enjoyed it. I mixed italian bread crumbs and some shake n bake for pork and added some rosemary. Dredged in flour before the egg mixture as some others suggested.
