Grilled Tostadas with Roasted Corn

This was sooooo good. I skipped the first step and used pre-made tostadas and added avocado to it, which made it that much better. I bet even without the Morning Star Chik'n Strips it would still be good, for those of you who can't find it in your grocery store. I will definitely be making this again.

Cucumber Sandwich

good meal for when you're trying to get rid of your cucumbers. i make this sandwich a lot but never put the peppers in it. no need for it. tastes good without it!

Pierced Fuzzy Navel

i combined all of the ingredients and used the famous magic bullet to blend it and it turned into a perfect tasting icy smoothie. barely even tasted the alcohol but strong enough to get you drunk. i drank this for 3 days straight! good stuff...

Baked Onion Rings

i'm a HUGE fan of fried onion rings but this baked version was excellent!!! and not greasy at all. i also didn't use the bag method - just dipped them in a bowl with bread crumbs mixed with garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, parsley flakes, salt, and pepper (minus the thyme). i will make these again very soon cuz all i have left in my house are onions :)

Baked French Fries I

i baked it at 425 degrees and flipped the fries every 15 min. for 50 min. they turned out perfect!

Garlic Ginger Tofu

i make this all of the time and i love it! i use olive oil instead of canola and only use one pound of tofu. i usually cook it until the tofu gets real crispy.

Ketchup

i've made this ketchup three times already and anyone who tries it, loves it! instead of the fennel bulb, i use ground fennel and replace the salt with sea salt. i've never strained it because the consistency has always been fine. every homemade ketchup i've tried has been a bit thick so i don't mind it. and remember to dump out your crappy store bought ketchup and use the empty bottle for your awesome home-brewed one!

Whole Wheat Ginger Snaps

great cookies. very chewy. i had to add more flour to make it easier to work with and needed to put it in the fridge for about a half hour. i made the balls too big so all of the cookies stuck to each other and are HUGE! but that's not a bad thing....
