Pumpkin Shortbread Bars

I was expecting more of a crumble to go on top and it was dry and floury. The topping amount seemed out of proportion for the other two layers. I don't think this worked quite right.

Japanese Zucchini and Onions

I used only the teriyaki seasoning since that seemed to be what most of the reviews supported. This was not something that we really enjoyed and I will not make again.

I was uncertain about trying this as I had never made a trifle before. It was a breeze. Delicious and looked great. I was concerned about how it would serve out of the bowl because the angel food cake was not torn into pieces but it was not a problem at all. Loved it. It had a real WOW factor.
