Soups, stews, vegetable and chicken stir-fry, Italian dishes, throwing together crisp and delicious vegetable and fruit salads, love cooking on the grill: meats, veggies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Decorating Christmas cookies with Mom and Siblings. All of the wonderful Thanksgiving feasts through the years. Mom's homemade noodles at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Mmmm!!!
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made Italian "gravy" (spaghetti sauce) from scratch. It was a huge hit with the Italian family I married in to.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made beef stew. The meat burned and the whole meal was ruined. I have since perfected the dish and it is now a wintertime family favorite. I'm terrible at baking cakes and breads.
