About this Cook
Born in Aguascalientes, mexico. I am 55 years old I lived in several parts as Los Angeles, Ca San Diego Ca San Francisco Ca Hawaii, Montreal Qc. and several cities in Mexico such as Oaxaca, Guanajuato, San Miguel Allende, Guadalajara and now I am back in my homeland. I think the travel has been part of my culinary backgrounds as I have learned a variety of styles and recipes
My favorite things to cook
I have over 25 years of being vegetarian, I do not eat meat, fish or eggs. I love to cook Mexican,Italian,Hindu and Asian food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Enchiladas, tamales, cactus salad, pozole, tacos de canasta, frijoles, charros, capirotada, calabaza en tacha, mole etc., etc., (sorry no translation for this but I will share all these recipes and more with you.)
My cooking triumphs
The wedding cake for my son, because supposedly all the pastries especially cakes must carry egg but this is a myth. The power to prepare wide variety of Mexican cuisine with the same flavor and texture but without meat. Also to see that my whole family (I cook for them) remains slim and very healthy.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 15 years old my Mom was out of city and I cook for my Father, I was making Hamburgers and French fries . I spell some hot oil over my hand, I run to put some mustard (this really helps)
