I read the other reviews and I, too, changed it up a bit. I used Knorr's Vegetable Soup mix, 'cause that's what I had and I added a little wine and a little chicken broth(about 1/4 cup of each) to the mix in the crock pot. Then when I got home and the mixture in the crock pot was done, I sauteed up some fresh sliced mushrooms in a little olive oil and wine....I added cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken to the crock pot mixture.....added only 4 oz of cream cheese and when the mushrooms were done I tossed those in and mixed it until it was all creamy, hot and mixed....then served it over hot, buttered noodles. Very good!
