they were more like really big meatballs but still really good, especially with cream of mushroom poured over them.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I DEFINITELY should've added about 1 cup of water to the mixture (of which I used 1 cup cream of mushroom and 1 cup cream of chicken). By an hour the casserole was drying up, even though I had tried to add water after the first 1/2 hour; but the rice still wasn't fully cooked. Nonetheless, the casserole was still delicious, especially with the (frozen) peas and carrots I threw in with the rice. Next time I think I'll also throw in some chopped onions for extra flavor.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
I used Ritz crackers, as some of the reviewers suggested, and they were wonderful! The cracker crumbs really made them nice and crunchy. I think next time, however, I'll try baking them in something other than butter because the bottoms of the chops came out saturated in butter.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
They were delicious but took forever to cook all the way through. I only had 3 ribs in the slow cooker, but after 7 hours it still wasn't completely done. It looked done on the outside--nice and brown, meat falling off the bone--but the meat was still bloody near the bone. So I took it all out--meat and sauce--and cooked it on the stove. I let it boil and then covered it and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
These are delicious and very thick...probably because I scooped the dough into really big teaspoon-fulls that made 21 cookies instead of 48! I read one review that said the dough was crumbly and that using margarine was better than butter, but I made sure the butter was really soft before throwing it in with the sugar, and I stirred the ingredients as thoroughly as possible so it wouldn't be crumbly. In the end it came out like regular dough and the cookies were perfect!

Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Wow this came out good. The cream cheese and cream made the muffins so...soft and creamy! When I started blending in the cream, I was worried that it wouldn't turn out right because I didn't have a mixer...but I carried on with the instructions and it came out perfectly. For a batch of 12, it took 17 minutes to bake.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
It came out really well and I didn't even have to adjust the cooking time. I tried seasoning the chicken before putting it in the flour mix, but I think next time I'll season it even more because the amount I used with the pepper, paprika and sage really wasn't enough to give it flavor.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
Easy to make and tastes oh so good! I seasoned the pork chops really well before putting them in the baking dish and pouring the gravy over them, and when they were done, I topped them with chopped green onions.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
These were wonderful! I used boneless chicken breasts cut in halves and baked them for about...35 minutes, I think (I know it was less than 45). I also seasoned the chicken before dipping them in butter and rolling them in the potato buds and cheese. They came out so good!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
These are freaking DIVINE because of that one ingredient I never thought to use: instant vanilla pudding mix. I didn't want to make 72 cookies and when I tried calculating it to 24, the measurements came out way too complicated. So I used a typical cookie recipe that had the same ingredients but typical measurements ( 2-1/4 cups flour, etc.) and used only 1 package of pudding mix. I think next time I'll only use about 2/3 of the package, but they were still superb.

Easy, Speedy Corn Muffins

My husband, who usually hates corn muffins because they're typically dry, really liked them. The cream-style corn made them moist, and it was very easy and quick to prepare.

Fluffy Biscuit Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
Easy to make and with very few ingredients, but definitely tasted like real biscuits. I had my doubts because one of the recipe calls for mayonnaise of all things, but it worked... I tripled the number of servings and dropped them by the tablespoon onto a cookie sheet. One thing, though: it took much LESS than the noted cooking time to bake. Even at 9 minutes, I still managed to burn the bottom of the biscuits :(
