I have been retired for 4 years, love to cook and bake. My husband of 46 years and I like to travel a bit, mostly cruising. He loves to garden and I love to buy stuff to plant and point to where it should go - a very amenable arrangement. Family dinners, particulary pot roast, baby back ribs,anything Italian. I love to make desserts and my family love to enjoy them. My family has a long line of German/Swiss cooks so if it hasn't got whipping cream or butter in it it isn't worth eating! I do pie well, and long slow stews and pot roasts. Also love a good pork roast with lots of gravy and onions - always a hit. Love to do soups too. Blueberry pie - I cannot make a good cooked blueberry pie. The one time I did make one that looked like it might turn out well I dropped it on the floor taking it out of the oven. No more, now I make unbaked blueberry pie in a baked crust.
