My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. It was slightly sweet without being overly so. It was easy enough for my husband to make (he is not a cook), while I supervised (I wasn't feeling too well). I only gave it 4 stars because, although all three of my children ate it- none of them enjoyed it. They requested that I not make it again. The only complaints they could verbalize was that it was a. too sweet, or b. the sauce didn't stick to the meat and flavor it enough. That said- I added it to my recipe box and it will make more appearances at our dinner table.

I made two alterations to this cake- 1: I used Pamela's Gluten Free Baking mix instead of the flour , 2: I used vanilla yogurt instead of sour cream because it is what I had on hand. It was delicious. If you try to make it GF- add one extra cup of flour.

I brought this to a dinner party and have been begged ever since for the recipe, and to bring it back. It was super easy to make, and delicious. Bonus: I have celiac's and can not have traditional poppers. This was a delightful alternative for me.
