About this Cook
I love learning how to cook new things, especially Asian food. Most of the time though, it ends up a disaster. And luckily, I have a chef-friend who saves the day for me. =D I've only started cooking because of my girlfriend. I think it's romantic for a girl to see a guy cooking her favorite dishes.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta, Adobo, Scrambled Eggs, Grilled Cheese Sandwich I like trying to cook recipes I haven't done before.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad taught me the best adobo recipe.
My cooking triumphs
Risotto recipe that I found on this site. I cooked it last Valentine's Day for my girlfriend. Even I thought it was really good.
My cooking tragedies
It happens all the time to me. Hehe.

Chicken Enchiladas II
Wow! I was quite surprised this turned out really really good, despite forgetting to grease the baking dish. This was way better than all the enchiladas I had in different Mexican joints. I didn't change any part of the recipe. Just topped it with cilantro and red pepper flakes after baking and had jalapenos as a side dish.

Garlic Rice
Great for breakfast. I made mine with chorizo and more garlic. It tasted like my mom's authentic Filipino fried rice. Yum! Yum!

Bacon-y Bok Choy
Simple, quick, and tasty dish. The crunchy bok choy and crispy bacon coupled with the red pepper flakes made a wonderful combination. Cook the bok choy with the bacon grease and you won't regret it =)
