I inherited my love of cooking from my mother and grandmother, and prepare meals daily for a family of four, also entertaining frequently. I garden and preserve my own food, as well as having at least a year's worth of groceries in my pantry. I am also into reading, photography, camping, and racing! Trying out new recipes! Traditional Holiday meals are a must here, as my family is very opposed to anything different during those times. All the kids and grandkids come for a Christmas cookie decorating party every year. We also have homemade bread daily all year. Any recipe that comes out great after I tinker with it is a triumph! Also, I am mastering the art of just-enough done instead of well-done! I am known for cooking food too long (picture burnt to a crisp), especially in my early married years. No real tragedies, but some awful dinners!
