About this Cook
When I was 16 I started working at a Bakery. Since then cake decorating has been one of my favorite things.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake just about any dessert.
My cooking triumphs
Lemon Meringue Pie!
My cooking tragedies
I've been baking since I was 7 or 8. The first cookie I ever made was a Snickerdoodle... Instead of adding 1/2 tsp. salt- I added 1/2 c. salt. My mom tasted the very first one. Oh, the face she made. It really bummed me out... but i never made that mistake again :-)

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These cookies have got to be the BEST choc. chip cookies I have ever had or baked... Everyone that tries them are AMAZED! And the size of them!!! WOW! I use one of those measuring cups that you draw back to the right amount- like a plunger type. All of the cookies come out to be the exact same size and thickness. I usually double the recipe, pre-measure all of the dough and keep them in the fridge until time to bake them. You may need to bake them a couple minutes longer if they're thicker. Also, I use Ghirardelli chocolate chips. They're quite a bit bigger than others. And to me, they taste better. Again... AWESOME cookies! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
