I've been in the Army for just over six years now. I have had the opportunity to travel a lot and experience foods from around the world. I have been married to my beautiful wife Shelly for almost 5 years and have 2 dogs. A boxer lab mix named Max and a Pit named Hercules. Right now we live in central Texas and are trying to make the best of it. I love to grill. If I can grill it, I will enjoy cooking it. I love turkey tenderloin marinated in a Baja citrus tequila mix. Right now that has to be my fav. I don't really get into the family traditions. I have an awesome Swedish meatball recipe from my dad. He does a lot of Italian foods and I just don't enjoy baking enough to get into them. The one thing I did pick up is washing my hands before and after handling each ingredient. Who knows. To be honest the grilling is usually accompanied with drinking and nobody is easier to please then a bunch of drunks hanging around the back patio. Hmmmm.... not really. My issue is that I enjoy my food well done. When I say well done I mean WELL done. Every so often I have a few too many beers and end up not realizing that well done was 10 minutes earlier than I thought.
