About this Cook
Born and raised in Chicago. Italian, so love food. Work in travel and managed to go to some nice destinations in US and Europe. Like to cook and bake and try new recipes. Have searched for items and ideas on the allrecipe website and found reviews to be very helpful.
My favorite things to cook
Italian meatballs, breaded veal cutlets, Italian sausage & potatoes, pound cake, pizzelles, pot roast, stew and chicken soup.

Lemon Whippersnappers
Made this recipe exactly as stated and if you like very lemony cookies that are chewy, you will love these. I will be bringing these for a Christmas party, so currently don't have other feedback. My only complaint is that the dough was terribly sticky and messy to work with, even after refrigerating overnight. I took someone else's advise and sprayed my hands with Pam cooking spray to help with the stickiness.

Scalloped Potatoes I
I made this for Thanksgiving and followed the recipe exactly. This is so easy to make and it was wonderful and cheesy. I did let it cook longer than what the recipe stated to get the cheese browner, but it is definitely a keeper and was a nice change from the traditional sweet potatoes.

Apple Crumb Pie
Made this on Thanksgiving and it is excellent and easy to make. Followed the recipe and only left out the nutmeg & optional items. I would definitely make again. I used 5 Granny Smith and 2 Honey Crisp apples and it was plenty and very tasty. The baking time however was much longer than stated, but that could be oven related. Definitely will make again. Thanks Jackie Smith
