These are the BEST tasting gingersnaps I have ever tasted. I made them for my family for the holidays and the were stunned. I only added a dash of nutmeg and they were perfect.

This recipe is AMAZING!! I just did a few modifications because I thought it was a little too sweet. I decreased the sugar and brown sugar to 1/3 cup, omitted the water, and increased the flour to 4 tablespoons. It was PERFECT after this and less watery. Thanks Grandma Ople!!

This recipe was AWESOME!! I have made this 3 times now and I believe that fresh romas and basil are a MUST. Each time I made this I used 8 romas and I question people saying that the canned tomatoes are more economical. It only costed me about $2.38 for 8 of the roma tomatoes. I don't know how much more cheap you can get than that:) I only used 2 tbsp of olive oil and did not use any of the sun-dried tomatoes. This is my husbands new favorite food.....he can't get enough!!!
