Mexican Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
This was so easy and my roomates 2 boys loved it (ages 12 and 17). I used 1 pound of beef and half an onion. Also I used a can of Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies which was smaller then 14.5 ounces cause that is all I had so I did use the 3/4 cup hot water. I only used 1 box of Jiffy muffin mix which covered most of the 2 qt casserole dish I used and I felt it was enough. I added the cheese to the beef mixture along with mixing the corn in with it. I also added some cheese to the corn muffin mix. I didn't add the olives either cause I do not like them. Will definately make again!!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I seasoned the pork chops first with seasoning salt then melted the butter in the pan before added the chops. I also uncovered after 30 minutes then broiled each side for 5 minutes as others suggested. The BEST pork chops I have ever eaten!!! Sooo yummy!! The buttery crackers are such a nice flavor for the breading. Mine came out moist and sooo tender!! Will definately be making again. :)

Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
This is the only way I will make drumsticks in the slow cooker now. I followed the suggestion of others and dredged my chicken in flour with salt and peper. I also added half an onion, sliced and also a can of Diced tomotaoes and green chilies for some texture. I cooked on high for 4 hours then like an hour on low and it was soooo good!! I took the leftover meat off the bone and the next day ate the meat and sauce mixture over rice. I am trying this recipe tonight with chicken brest to try to save that step next time. Best use of Chicken Drumsticks!!!

Fried Rice with Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2009
Soo easy and yummy! I used a rotisserie chicken, omitted the celery cause I just don't like it and used frozen peas and carrots then doubled the recipe but other than that everything was the same. My sweetie loved it!! Sooo good. Oh! I added more soy sauce also.

These meatballs were sooo yummy!!! I browned them like other reviewers suggested but still the sauce came out greasy. I skimmed the grease off and enjoyed!! The next day I made meatball sandwiches and there were sooo good also!!

These were ok. I expected more??? It made a TON of cookies. I made half the bunch w/chopped walnuts and the other plain. Very cake-like. I think I prefer the Best Chocoalte Chip cookies from this site better.

Chocolate Surprise Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
I followed the directions exactly! I did though put the cream cheese filling in between the cake and topped with store bought cream cheese frosting. They definately taste better the next day for some reason. I had one right when they cooled and didn't think they were chocolately enough but the next day they were AWESOME!! So would suggest to make the night before and eat the next day. Yummy!!!

I wasn't sure if I was suppose to use salted butter or not so used a stick of salted and unsalted. I used the full bag of semi sweet chocolate chips and also I threw in a handful of white chocolate chips. They came out moist and chewy. Sooo good!

Maria's Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
This made way too much filling!! I would definately use half of the filling for another meal like stuffed pasta shells. I used all the filling by putting the leftover on top of the chicken but it was just too much. Other than that the flavor of everything was good. Would make again but either for 8 chicken breasts or with pasta shells for another meal.

This was comfort food. I did add shredded cheese and subsituted homestyle potatoes with the tater tots. I also seasoned the ground beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Also added a drained can of mushrooms. Would make this again for a fast, easy meal. Thanks!

Manicotti Italian Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
This was sooo good!! I didn't have any manicotti so I used linguine instead. I did use 2 jars of Ragu chuncky mushroom sauce and used 2 cans of mushrooms. I also only used 1 pound of ground beef and I added some extra cheese on top to make it nice and cheesy. I really liked the end result and would definately make again. This filled up a 9x13 pan so it makes tons!!!

Chicken with Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
So fast and easy!! I used 4 frozen chicken breasts and cooked for 6 hours on low and the result was DELICIOUS! I added an extra can of cream of mushroom soup and a bag of frozen mixed veggies. I also used chicken broth instead of water and used stove top chicken flavored stuffing. It's like a little Thanksgiving dinner in a pot! So Yummy!
