I am currently a young cook, though hopefully soon I will be able to attend culinary school. At the moment I wish to become a pastry chef, though I find whipping up meals of all different kinds to be just as fun. Though everybody around me constantly asks this question, I am never really able to respond. Decorating cakes and making little confectionaries certainly gets me creative, and I love making creampuffs and other little bites of happiness, but putting together different flavors to make hearty meals really touches my heart. I really am a Southern girl, and my family has a number of secret recipes that we all simply adore. Mama’s Tea Cakes would definitely be the most popular with everybody, but being our most prized recipe, I am unable to share it with y’all :0) Very many! The cherry-flavored petit fours I made for a wedding shower recently are the first in my mind! Also many... I tend to have to make a recipe all the way through before realizing what I could have done better on :'(
