Soup! I love starting early on a weekend morning making stock from scratch, and spending the rest of the day tweaking it till just right.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Anything my grandmother made; she was the best cook. All the homey Italian and Portuguese food from the town I grew up in. And of course, being from Rhode Island, good old chowder and clamcakes. :)
