These cookie bars are super good. I have been making zucchini bread for years, decided I wanted to try these as something different. My family loves them. They taste like something my grandma would make, can't beat that.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

This was really good banana bread and I have made many. I added big chunks of walnuts, yum. I also halved the recipe since it took so many bananas, wish I hadn't since then I only got one big loaf, always prefer to get two, either for freezing or gifting.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

A very very good pesto. The Brazil nuts were hard to find, I ended up picking them out of a can of mixed nuts but they added such an interesting crunch we decided they were worth the effort. Defiantly a do over, only next time we decided to cut down on the chili powder to please our son.

Coconut-Lime Chicken with Grilled Pineapple

We loved this recipe! I served over couscous and my kids liked the sauce so well they were fighting over the last of the couscous to eat with more sauce. The Chicken was great, very tender and flavorful. Definitely adding to our regulars, thanks.

Impossible Coconut Pie I

My Mother In Law made this pie for our family, we love Coconut but my kids didn't care for the jellied crust. It has a defninte egg-y flavor sort of like tapioca. If I am going to the trouble to bake a pie I would just as soon make a real crust.
