tasty! mine ended up very moist, which made them very perishable. next time i will cut the recipe in half, or freeze.

i was looking for something to make with the lb. of ground turkey in our freezer and decided to try it as a substitute for beef in this recipe. the results were very tasty. i'm not a meatloaf fan usually, because my mother's growing up was incredibly bland. this recipe, however, is not! like some said, there are large amounts of dried spices which yield a strong flavor, but i enjoyed it. i was short on time so skipped the homemade brown sugar/ketchup glaze and just poured some stubb's BBQ sauce on top and sprinkled a bit of paprika over that. both my husband and i were pleased with the moist texture and taste. might be too peppery/pungent for my 2 year old, though. we'll see!

this is an excellent recipe, and my 2 year old loves them. i was low on regular cooking oats, so ended up using 1/2 regular oats and 1/2 steel-cut oats and they still turned out delicious. next time, i will probably throw in some dried cranberries and nuts.
