Best Formula Three-Cheese Fondue

This was sooo good! Only changes for us were bringing wine to simmer (NOT BOIL), shredding cheeses vs. cubes & coating cheese w/ flour instead of in pot, melts more evenly w/ changes...but the ingredients themselves were perfect!

Garlic Red Potatoes

The parmesan cheese is the only thing that saved this recipe from being average potatoes. We could barely taste the garlic, as recipe called for it. Next time we'll double the garlic & cheese to see if it turns out better

Shrimp Scampi V

We gave this a 4 because we cut the wine in half, but it was delicious! I made it again adding some broccoli, more garlic & added a tbsp of flour right before the wine to thicken the sauce a little...worked great! My 1 & 3 year olds always ask for more :)

Honeyed Sweet Potatoes

This recipe had some good flavor, although a little more butter than necessary. We followed the recipe as instructed and found the flavor to be good...the sweet potatoes had enough flavor that the honey/butter just enhanced! Will be making again soon!

Spinach Cheese Manicotti

This is a great recipe. My husband would give it 10 stars! He says it's one of his new favorites :) Only change was to cook noodles 1/2 way & omit water(worked great!) & use 1 jar of sauce(which was plenty).

Pomegranate Jelly

I gave this an average rating because we didn't follow exact instructions. Cut down the sugar by a cup & it was still sweet enough & also boiled for 1 minute (as box instructed). Almost set up but not completely. Will be good Christmas gifts!

My husband gave this a 5 after 1 bite! It must be good I thought, and it was. Wouldn't change a thing! For my little ones cut back on the creole seasonging, but still not that strong.

This was pretty good! My only changes were omitting the water chestnuts(cause we don't like them) & baking them instead of frying(followed some other reviewers suggestions). Close to the restaurants!

O MAN! This is just like you get at mexican food stands, and sooo good. Sprinkle w/ cayenne for an added kick, but doesn't need it. For lower fat, use Mayo made w/ canola oil.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I LOVE THIS BREAD!! My family is already begging me to make it for the holidays! Just as good & healthier if you substitute: 1/2 oil for applesauce, 1/2 sugar for brown sugar, 1/2 flour for whole wheat. And froze very well (although didn't last there either!)

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Really good! Put mine in a 9X9 for a thicker cake & cooked for 40 mins, added streusel topping and back in for another 15. Turned out great, my 1 & 2 year olds ate as much as me!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I made 1 loaf as recipe calls & made a 2nd loaf w/ these changes: subbing 1/2 oil w/ applesauce, 1/2 whole wheat flour, and 1/2 of the sugar w/ brown sugar. We could barely taste the changes! And much healthier! I added the zucchini to the wet ingredients first, then added the dry. Made for easier stirring. Delicious!!

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

This chicken was really good! Especially for being so easy. We did make a gravy after sauteing the chicken, it was a nice addition. My 1 & 2 yr olds both loved it!
