I have been married since August 2003 and I have a daughter, Lanie, who was born in May of 06. We also have a wheaten terrier named Max (better known as "Boo" or "Boonie"). I work part time as a preschool teacher and hope to attend culinary school someday. Desserts!!!! But I also love coming up with new dinners to surprise my husband. There is a long line of fab southern cooks in my family - I am trying to live up to them, but I have only been interested in cooking for about a year now. I always get rave reviews on my desserts. I was traumatized by my Easy Bake Oven as a child - used salt instead of sugar to sweeten up a little cake. Maybe that's why I was terrified of the kitchen for the next 15 or so years??
