This recipe is hands down my favorite shrimp dish. Every time I make this recipe everyone in my family gets excited. I follow the recipe exactly as written. I have been making this dish for a couple of years now and have tried to cheat a few times by using dried Basil. PLEASE do yourself a favor and use only FRESH Basil, it makes a huge difference. Also you can add a few chips of Apple wood to the charcoal for a nice hint of smoky flavor!
