Frijoles a la Charra
I made this for dinner tonight,and it turned out GREAT! I drained half the water out,after boiling beans for an hour(in a regular pot)on top of the stove. Added beef broth instead of the beer. Added a can of ro-tel to the mix (we like it spicy) instead of the fresh tomatoes. Served with a side salad and corn-bread! A delicious bean dinner : Great meal for snugglin'up after (wink,wink)! HA!

Chicken Tortilla Soup III
THIS is just toooo YUMMY for the TUMMY! This soup is just spicy enough for the whole family to agree on. I love this soup in the summer especially,but we eat it in every season. Use lots of Mexi-cheese on the top of your bowl..."Ayy Carrumba Miss Julie - You GO GIRL!"

Chicken a la Good
This was a yummy and different way to excite your baked chicken fans in your house-hold. I need to tell ya that you might want to use plenty of chicken broth while baking this dish...and a little basting will ensure that it comes out as moist as possible. We liked it - and will try again. Served with stuffing and a fresh salad on the side.
