When it came time to make dinner tonight, we were planning to have hamburgers, but wanted something a little different. I typed in "ground beef" for the ingredient, and saw "sloppy joes," which I hadn't eaten since I was a kid. I was delighted when I found this recipe, and realized I had the ingredients all ready! I doubled the recipe, but other than that I followed it exactly. They were delicious! My boyfriend said this recipe is "a keeper."

This rating is for the mousse ONLY - The reason is that it was so delicious, it didn't need the cake! We tasted the mousse and LOVED it, so we decided to enjoy it on its own. I may try putting it in mini graham cracker pie shells for something extra, but either way, it's fantastic!

My boyfriend usually does the grilling, so I was a bit nervous about being the one in charge of the burgers... I did end up making the patties too thick to start, so I was worried they would be dry once they finally cooked through. However, these burgers turned out moist and delicious! We will be making these again soon!
