Delicious! I added some fresh ginger and garlic to the soup before blending it as some others mentioned. Also served it with a little dollop of sour cream. Perfect when carrots are on sale and a good soup to freeze for leftovers.

Carrot Soup

Wow, this soup is delicious! Based on the spiciness in the reviews, I substituted one fresh chilli. I had no basil, but put in a couple of stalks of celery. It was amazing. My partner had hers without hers being blended (I blended it after everything had simmered together for awhile) and I had mine after blending it with a stick blender. Perhaps this is the best soup we've ever had.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

I thought this dish was delicious, easy to make and I'll certainly make it again. However it's probably a recipe that I suggest you make once and then begin to experiment with. ie. The idea of serving it with a soup sounds great! (as per one of the photos)

Creamy Carrot Soup

This was a great soup. It was easy to make with so few ingredients and something suitable for a crock-pot on low or in less than an hour on the stove. Changes I made: I substituted milk for the cream and had a few bits of broccoli sitting around and added them in.

This was my first time attempting to make this delicious bread to accompany a soup. The result was fantastic. A little time consuming, but all the more worthwhile. A perfect recipe to bake and take to a friend's house. It keeps well and was wonderful fresh out of the oven or sliced and toasted a few days later.

Pavlova

Our pavlova needed to quickly replace a Christmas day pavlova that was accidentally destroyed. We hopped online to find directions that used only ingredients we had around the house. This one fit the bill. Our first attempt at the humble pavlova (a New Zealand tradition), it turned out really well and was delicious. With helpful suggestions from friends, the key to the pavlova is adding the sugar in bit by bit, not disturbing it once it is in the oven and of course decorating it later with fresh whipped cream, strawberries and kiwifruit. Thanks for saving Christmas!
