This is one of the best pies I have ever tasted! The sour cream really adds such a unique flavor to the fruit. I only had 2 pears so I also used some G. Smith apples which worked fine. The topping is to die for and stays in it's place instead of being loose and falling off. Excellent and I will use this recipe often.

Ditto to all the raves about this recipe because it is awesome! I'm surprised about the reviewers wanting to leave out the flour because that is what gives everything something to hold on to and gives the sauce a little added thickness. I would serve this to guests and I know they would be impressed!

Don't make this mistake. I used a low fat sausage and it made this recipe way too dry. I added some melted butter and it was still too dry. I might look for another recipe with a little more liquid.
