I'm a DJ living in Vermont. My interest in food mainly stems from my love of eating, as well as finding new and creative ways to cook. My wife tends to be very picky, so finding new recipes and creating new recipes she will try is one of my challenges. I enjoy making soups as well as sauces. I would like to get more into gastronomy, but I think that is in the far future. My absolute favorite food to make is sushi. During the holidays my family gets together at my grandmothers. We all bring our own dishes, which I look forward to every year. I enjoy trying my relatives cooking, especially when they bring something out of the ordinary. I once made over 600 rolls of sushi for a party a friend of mine was throwing, probably the most time consuming thing that I've ever cooked. Everyone at the party enjoyed it, even those who had originally been put off by the idea of sushi. Too many to admit. Though there was that one time my brother and I attempted to make a cake, which turned out more like a rubber tire...
