I am a 12-year-old "chef" who wants to learn all about cooking. I enjoy baking the best, but do the occasional dinner. I try to experiment, but then I end up just making a batch of cookies. I always find myself in the kitchen scrounging for ingredients to experiment, and try out new recipes. I am always in the kitchen looking for some recipe to make that takes the most simple items. I began getting interested in cooking when my mom bought me a cookie book (cookie bookie) a couple months ago. I was fascinated by all the delicious goodies and decided to try some out. I then went on to baking cupcakes then cakes then pies and then soon enough cream puffs.
My favorite things to cook
Baked treats. Cupcakes, cookies, cakes, cream puffs, pie et cetera. All those yummy treats!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have any cooking traditions. I'm pretty much the only one in my family who's interested in different recipes, and exploring all there is to know about the art of cooking.
My cooking triumphs
Chicken Cordon Bleu, that was very fun to make and delicious! I also made cream puffs, which I thought were pretty gourmet.
My cooking tragedies
If I have a recipe I use more than once, I make sure I know exactly how long to cook it. For instance if the recipes says to cook 15-20 minutes I find out exactly how much time it takes, so I don't risk burning my creation or having to keep checking the oven every second.
