This is absolutely delish! I had everything on hand for this perfect syrup except for fresh ginger root, so I used 1 tsp. of ground ginger instead and it turned out just fine. I added about a TBSP to a cup of coffee with some half and half and I have to say that it was the most delicious cup of coffee I've ever had! I made several batches of this and packaged it to give as Christmas gifts. Thanks for the great recipe.
