So good, so easy! The only thing I'd say is to reduce the amt of cinnamon for rolling, or increase the amt of sugar. I made these for xmas gifts and was sad that I couldn't eat them all!

So good! The instructions seemed complicated at first, but weren't really. I just did 2 layers and increased the amt of Kahlua throughout. I did have a problem with the marscapone filling. It oozed out all over. It was discernible in taste, but not in appearance.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I followed the reviews and only added about 1/2 the broth. I also added 1lb of sausage. Flavor was great, but it had a weird pillowy texture. I suspected it might be too soft with the slow cooker, and I was right. I won't be making it again.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Easy to make, very tasty! I use one of those larger cardboard rectangular chicken broth boxes and no water. Also used cumin instead of oregano, though Mexican oregano would be fine. Nums!

Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Very good! Definitely a cakey cookie, but that's not terrible. I had vanilla protein powder, so I left out the extract. Next time I'll add more chocolate chips, but otherwise I thought they were great. Note: the batter is very soft, but don't be alarmed. Just leave a lot of room for spreading. These also make great ice cream sandwiches!

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

We liked this cake. As a point of reference, my DH said the cake tasted like strawberry Quik (this was meant as a compliment!). I spooned the flour into the measuring cups before sifting, and had no heaviness problems. I just added the eggs as directed, no pre-whipping. I used pureed fresh strawberries (plenty of sugar in the recipe), and added a little salt too. I made 24 cupcakes and a small 8" round cake. I frosted with a not- super-sweet cream cheese frosting.

Bourbon Cream Cheese Frosting

I used 3 tbs of bourbon, and it was still too runny. If you want an icing or a glaze, use 5. If you want a true frosting, use 2. I also added 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Also, definitely, definitely make this a day in advance.

Banana Pound Cake With Caramel Glaze

Not as dense as poundcake or even banana bread, which is nice. Too sweet, though. I'll make it again, but I'll cut the sugar quite a bit. I also added some pumpkin pie spice.

Pumpkin Bread Puddin'

Delicious alternative to pumpkin pie. Instead of individual spices, I just used a tsp of pumpkin pie spice. I also left off the chocolate chips and served with caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. NOM NOM NOM!

Best Breakfast Cookie

Very cakey. They were tasty, but not what I was looking for. Also, I had to add more oil since the batter wasn't coming together at all. I used whole wheat flour, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Meat-Lover's Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

I also cooked the sausage and ground meat (I used turkey) together. Very easy to assemble and tasty. I will say that, for me, 8 hours on low was too long. It burned some. Six would probably be enough.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Very tasty! I added green onions and cherry tomatoes per other suggestions, used yellow and orange bell peppers, and used aged provolone as I couldn't find asiago. I liked the addition of the dry seasoning mix. I sometimes find pasta salads to be bland, but that was not the case with this one. Also, the colors are beautiful!

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Yummy! It's a very sweet, dense cake. I made it as a Bundt, and the color was beautiful. We served it with cool whip, which was perfect. Frosting would be sugar overkill.

Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Frosting

Super delicious. I thought it was thin as directed (and needed to frost a layer cake), so I doubled the amount of powdered sugar and left out the milk. The first day the hot fudge topping taste really stood out, but after tasting some leftover frosting 2 days later, the flavors have melded together wonderfully. The best chocolate frosting I've made. I'll keep using it, and I'll play with the flavors (nutella, kahlua instead of milk...num!)

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

I made as directed, with the exception of melting the chocolate chips. I think next time I'll make without the pudding. There was a weird rubbery-ness that I think might be because of the pudding. Also, I didn't get any of the liqueur flavor. I might add more next time or do a glaze. Worth making again!
