Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This is an exceptional marinade. I only had time to marinade steak about 4 hours and it was still delicious. I do cut the vinegar by 1/2. I feel it would be too strong for my taste if I use the full amount. Also I cook my steak 2 minutes on 1 side and 3 minutes on the other side. Try this recipe...you will not be disappointed!!!!

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe for rolls. The only few things I did differant was I added 1 tsp of salt and used all bread flour. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes for rolls to double in size. My husband loved them and that is a big compliment because he is not a big bread eater!!! Thank you for the terrific recipe.....

Crispy Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
This was the best fried chicken that I have ever made. It was cooked perfectly. I added a splash of hot sauce to the buttermilk and let it marinade for a few hours. When I was ready to start frying my chicken I added an egg to the buttermilk mixture. We used boneless breast chicken (4 pieces) I added 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp seasoning salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp paprica, dash cayanne pepper, 1 tsp garlic pepper and a dash of salt. I also dipped the chicken in the flour first, then the buttermilk mixture and then the flour again. I drained my chicken on a wire rack so that it would stay crispy. Try this recipe....you will not be disappointed!!!!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
I love this recipe. I gave it to my daughter and she and her family love it also. We always use the dough cycle on our bread machines and make rolls. The only changes we make is to add a dash of honey and 2 Tablespoons of parmesan cheese and increase salt to 1 1/2 teaspoon. This is the only bread recipe we use. Thank you for the delicious recipe.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
Very tender and juicy roast. Next time I will probably leave roast in oven about 5 more minutes. My roast was 2.25 lbs and I cooked for 16 minutes. I served with roasted potatoes and with the drippings I made au jus gravy using 2 cups water and 2 tsp better then bouillon. Made french dip sandwiches with the roast beef. Had my husband slice the meat super thin using our meat slicer.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This chicken was fabulous!!! I did melt some butter and put on the chicken before I put on the spices. I added a lemon and some fresh rosemary to the cavity. I could marinate for about 3 hours and I cooked it for 5 hours. It was a 5 lb chicken. I increased the temp to 300 for the last 30 minutes. It was so pretty we didn't want to eat it. It was also very tender and juicy. I will definately roast my chickens like this from now on. I also added about 1 cup of chicken boullon to the pan and the last 2 hours I added some baby carrots.....

Peppered Bacon and Tomato Linguine

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
Very good pasta recipe. I used 1 can of stewed tomatoes and put fresh basil on top. I also only used half of the amount of pasta. After cooking my onion and garlic I deglazed the pan with about 1/4 cup red wine. I let it reduce and then added the tomatoes and other ingredients. Also added about 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. My favorite pasta recipe!!!! Very good base
