Stuffed and Baked Tomatoes

I love stuffed tomatoes, but I think I prefer them with some meat in there (chopped up sausage or bacon). Needs a flavor boost.

Lemon Mustard Chicken

Very tasty chicken! Instead of bread crumbs I coated the (skinless) chicken thighs with flour and crushed pretzels. Used the leftovers in chicken pot pie. The citrus juices gave it a nice kick.

Chicken Honey Nut Stir Fry

This is a delicious recipe! My husband and I both enjoyed it and I passed the recipe on to my Mom and sister. I love the flavor from the OJ and the carrots give just the right amount of crunch. Perfect served over rice.

Mexican Baked Fish

Excellent recipe. I had frozen cod and although it thawed in the fridge all day it was still really cold in the center. I had to extend the cooking time by 10 or 15 minutes, but it still came out absolutely delicious. Will definitely make again.

Deviled Eggs I

Tasty recipe. I used dijon mustard instead of the mustard powder. Mixing the paprika in with the yolks made it orange, though and it looked a little funny. I prefer dusting the top with paprika- it makes for a better presentation.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Excellent idea! I had leftover ham from Easter dinner (it was still uncooked) and this was the perfect recipe for it! I had it in the slow cooker for 8 hours and the meat that was not submerged in the soda got a little black. Next time I won't leave it in so long or I'll use two cans of soda so all of the meat is submerged. I used the Jack Daniels No. 7 Recipe BBQ sauce. Delicious!

Crunchy Tuna Turnovers

This is a great recipe! I didn't have any potato chips so I used cornflakes to coat half of them and when I ran out of the cornflakes, I used crushed saltine crackers. Both were very tasty! If you do use potato chips, try to find some unsalted ones since the recipe is already naturally salty. Hopefully they're good left over. We'll find out tomorrow.

Spinach Turkey Roll

This is a pretty neat recipe. It was a little bland, though so next time I'll add some salt. I'll definitely use fresh spinach next time as well. Make sure to only put 1/4 c. of the spaghetti sauce in the meat loaf. When I read "1 cup divided" at first I thought it meant 1/2 cup. Unfortunalty I was in a rush while preparing it the first time around. I definitely plan on making it again, though. Just needs a little tweaking.

Strawnana Bread

I'm a little disappointed. I cut the spices and orange peel and added vanilla, as some suggested. The flavors are nice, but overall a little bland. An hour was definitely too much time for the loaf (I'm trying 20 min. for the muffins right now) but the crust is still really really chewy. Maybe I should have stuck to the original recipe.

Isaiah's Pretzel Fried Chicken

I don't like cayenne pepper, so I left it out but found the chicken to be very bland. It definitely needs a kick of some sort. Mustard might help, or maybe even some salt. It wasn't very good left over either. So greasy! Too messy to make again.

Peanut Noodles

My husband and I love this recipe! I make it at least twice a month. It's low maintenance and delicious. Not as good left over, though. (Although it is rare that there are any leftovers.)
