1st thing. I was born in Selma, Ala. on an AF base. Granma lived in Miss. I have no real"home".Looking to gain new skills and recipes. Am coming off of a bit of bad luck and health. Used to love cooking and want to get that back.
I am an animal lover; 4 cats(inside),1 cat & 1 dog outside. 38 Longhorn cattle,10 chickens. Married 26 years 1 step-daughter. Love to travel.

Omelets, chicken, hamburgers, cookies. Love Asian. I lived 5 years(73-78)in Bangkok,Thailand.

Homemade things. Mash potatos,veggies Not many traditions. I'm 53 and never cooked a turkey!

Omelets,chicken fried rice, real chicken tacos(no
cardboard shells allowed). Burgers. Homemade french fries.
My cooking tragedies
Turkey Chilie. Won a prize from a car show for "worst chilie" from Stanley Marcus. It was NOT bad, but in Texas any meat but beef in chilie is blasphemy.
