About this Cook
Mother of two boys, 17 & 19. My family loves my cooking. My husband calls me a natural. But, I usually find it another chore to do. However, I am starting to enjoy it more and more. When I have TIME, I do enjoy it.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta. Lamb. Braised meats. Soups. Comfort food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
From scratch, no pre made or boxed.
My cooking triumphs
In 23 years of cooking for my husband and boys, I have only made two items that went wrong.
My cooking tragedies
Key lime pie (never set up). Beef stew one time put in fresh herbs and family didn't like.

Almost No Fat Banana Bread
For a almost no fat banana bread this was VERY good. I lessen the sugar to 1/2 cup, increased cinnamon to 1 1/2 t. and added some vanilla. I made into 12 muffins instead, and it took 20 min. to cook. I will definitly make again. A great way to use up over ripe bananas and have a healthy snack!
