Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This is the best way to make green bean casserole. We use the french style cut green beans. We don't use soy sauce or milk, just a little bit of salt & pepper. So yummy!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Yum! The pork just fell right apart. It tasted great. I didn't have to fuss with it. I added just a dash of liquid smoke to the pot, but I don't know that it made any difference. I used our favorite barbecue sauce, I only used just enough of it, you don't want the pork swimming in BBQ sauce. Then I let that sit on low for another hour or so. Then you put a little BBQ sauce on the bun, spoon the pork onto it, and YUM! The pork was super juicy and tender. We'll definitely have this again. We used pork tenderloin because it was on sale for a really good deal. I might also try this with another cut of pork, or maybe pork chops without the BBQ sauce. Anyway, the rootbeer + pork idea works great.

Shepherd's Pie V

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
Way too much seasoning! Shepherd's pie isn't supposed to have so much seasoning. I will definitely cut out most of the seasoning next time and I'll probably use a jar of brown gravy instead of bouillon and water. I was thinking I might do cheddar flavored potatoes on top next time too.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I used German chocolate cake mix with mine. It was tricky timing them at first, trying to tell when they were done, but after the first batch or two that went in the oven I had it figured out when they "looked" done. I used parchment paper to line my cookie sheets and let them cool a minute before I moved them to a plate. Then I used pecan frosting to sandwich them together, turning them into German chocolate sandwich cookies. OMG, they were SO GOOD! I put them in a Tupperware container and they have stayed soft, perfect and fresh all week. They're almost gone though. I will definitely have to make these again, and experiment with other cake mix and frosting combinations.

Campbell's® Quick and Easy Chicken, Broccoli and Brown Rice Dinner

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
This was pretty tasty, easy to make, simple comfort food. Cream of chicken sounded too boring so I used broccoli cheese soup and cream of mushroom soup instead, and I added some canned mushrooms too. The rice took longer than I had hoped, but that was probably user error on my part. It turned out yummy in the end, and the chicken was so moist and tender. I'll definitely be making this again. The leftovers were good too.
