I am single. (divorced recently) I was married to an excellent cook. I have always had a hand in the kitchen. King of Omlets, BBQ, but never really got into basic cooking until my divorce. I started hosting poker games at my place and have been cooking for the poker players for a year now. I get compliments all the time. So I think I am doing something right. Pork chops with sweet potatoes are sooo good. I have had good luck with chile, chicken tortilla soup, chicken fried steak, scalloped potatoes, fresh green beans/onions/new potatoes......(comfort food) I also enjoy grilling samon with steamed vegtables,bell peppers, and wine. Sometimes I will toss a King Crab leg on the grill if there is a special lady involved! haha. Grilling in the summer. Shrimp/crawfish boil. Beer by the pool. Its the best. Probably my 3 egg omlets. My neighbors used to come over on Sunday mornings for Momosas and omlets. Grilled Samon has always been a hyge success and it is very simple....Always use fresh samon not farm raised! 100% better. I let someone else help n the kitchen for a party I was hosting and she didnt cook the fish long enough.............raw fried fish.yuck......lesson is always/always sample the food you r serving yourself!
