Chocolate Sandwich Cookies II
Minus the little bit of muscle it takes to stir the batter, these are the easiest cookies in the world to make! Unbelievably versatile, a thousand combinations. Very rich - I'd stick with small versions of the quick-baking cookie. Great!

Mountain Apple Cobbler
Yes, it's sweet. And gooey and warm and absolutely wonderful. I've made it twice now and each time I've served it -- dead silence. The best compliment a baker can receive while people are eating! I don't use a full can (I've stuck with regular Sprite) but use just enough to almost reach the top of the crescent rolls. Awesome. This one + french vanilla ice cream is staying in my box!

Crumb Apple Pie
I love this recipe! No two apple pies are going to taste the same, and that's especially true with this recipe. I agree that it does have a little too much cinnamon and nutmeg. I did add 1/8 cup of cream cheese (diced)to the apple mixture before spooning it into the crust. I also love lots of crunchy crumb on top! I doubled the crumb topping, adding extra brown sugar. Gala apples are my favorite, and they work really well for a sweeter (instead of tart) pie while still maintaining their crisp texture and consistency.
