I have been cooking for my family since I was young. I hate that I have not learned more of our traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. My husband is Mexican and I am trying to learn a little of his traditional meals too. I love baking and trying new recipies. However, with my tight schedule the faster and easier the recipe the more likely I am to stick to it. Pastelillos con Abuela and Dulce de Coco con Abuelo. I made Macaroni and Cheese from scratch for the first time last month and it was pretty good! I am still working on Arroz con Gandules and Pernil. It gets better every time, but no way compares to Abuela's.
