Grew up watching my mother cook everything from scratch all her life. She had very few of her recipes written down so I cook likewise. Each effort at a dish usually delivers a slight change in taste. Spent twenty years in the Navy and have been doing serious cooking since retiring in 1982. Mexican and Italian dishes with stir fry's running close behind. Kids and grandkids helping during holidays.
