About this Cook
I am married to my soulmate, Nathan, we have 1 daughter, Sydney, and a puppy named Onyx. Before having Syd I was a make-up artist, I think I've turned my flare for make-up for cooking now!!
My favorite things to cook
Caramel Brownies are my signature, everywhere we go I am asked to bring them. I really enjoy Mexican cooking, I've found endless possiblities there.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I can't say I have a family tradition, but I am hoping to start one with my daughter. Maybe X-mas cookies, Sunday night dinners, and/or a signature dish she really enjoys.
My cooking triumphs
Leg of Lamb....so nervous I couldn't do it, but it turned out great! Also, when I was dating my husband, I had his parents over for dinner and made a chicken dish I had never tried before, it was YUM-O!
My cooking tragedies
Homemade Stuffing, I just can't get it! Either too much or not enough flavor, and the bread crumbs are too soggy or too hard. Oh well, just glad my family likes StoveTop :)

Mexican Chocolate Chili
This was not really chili to us, not too hearty. More like taco soup.

Chicken with Stuffing
This taste good, but looks like canned dog food. I used savory herb stuffing mix & cream of mushroom soup w/garlic.

Steff's Shepherd Pie
We really enjoyed this. I would have rated 5 stars, but I read thru the reviews and did add all the additional spices. Without adding these I think this may have been bland. I added onion, green pepper, garlic & pepper to ground beef when browning. I used cream of celery soup, peas & corn for veggies. Will make again
