Chocolate Trifle

There is a friend at work that gave me a recipe really similar to this one except she cruples peanut butter cups in one of the layers. It's so good!

This recipe was one that fiance put as a "must try again." That's saying a lot from him because he's really hard to please. While we were eating, his father came in and tried a bite. He loved it as well. I was skeptical about the cinnamon with the chili powder and cumin but it was a nice change of pace. We will definitely be making this one again!

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

We tried this recipe tonight because I'm trying to find new vegetables for finace to try. He's a picky eater and doesn't like too many vegetables. I added parmesan cheese on top and it was very tasty. He seemed to think it was "okay" although he did eat it!

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

My fiance and I both love these burgers! The first time we made it exactly as the recipe says, and realized it called for way too much onion. When I make these burgers now, I use only half a chopped onion. I also use monterey jack instead of chedder. I love how tender the egg makes the burgers but be carefull and when you grill the burgers, be sure to use a sturdy spatula to flip the burgers or they can easily crumble on you.
