World's Best Potato Soup
This is a great recipe. I would have given it five stars but I thought it needed to be a little thicker. I did make some changes. I Fried the bacon and first so I could saute the celery and onions in the bacon grease( I put the bacon on a plate so I could put the bacon in the soup after I had dished it up)I also put carotts in with the celery and onions. Instead of water I used chicken broth. I think next time I will just use four cups of chicken broth instead of six. I also think that I will try cheese whiz instead of the cheddar cheese next time I make this.
