I love art, design, music and long walks. I have a passion for fashion, but my first love was cooking. I remember being in the kitchen since I was a child. My mother could not cook to save her life, but my father was a studious and patient baker and both my grandmothers were excellent cooks. I learned so much from helping and watching them! I love asian and middle eastern flavours and try to cook recipes with those profiles as often as I can. When I feel homesick, I go back to the flavours I grew up with- Jewish Eastern European and Regional Mexican. I am an avid baker, constantly trying out new bread and pastry recipes. I also make my own yoghurt.

A chicken cacciatore that turn bitter and soupy. It turns that I had put 3 times the amount of lemon and twice the amount of capers, and too much wine and liquid :( The second time around though, I nailed the recipe.
